ACTION ALERT: CALL YOUR LEGISLATORS!

Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association: Governor Brown and legislative Democrat leaders have reached agreement on a $5 billion regressive transportation tax increase. Gas taxes would increase by a minimum of 12 cents/gallon, and a new car tax of at least $40 would be imposed. CA already has the highest gas and car taxes in the nation and General Fund revenue has increased by $36 billion over the last six years, with not a dime going to transportation funding.
