Until recently, Sirota's bio on the site did not mention that Sirota served as Sanders' press secretary when Sanders was a member of the House.



The Washington Examiner media desk broke the story in July that IBTimes was not disclosing Sirota's connection to Sanders, even though Siorta was reporting critically on Sanders' rival Hillary Clinton and also Republican presidential candidates Jeb Bush and Chris Christie.
