His remarks, both to the crowd during his speech and during an interview with MSNBC’s Jose Diaz-Balart, were rife with the usual “blame the GOP” rhetoric and defenses of the amnesty actions he himself declared beyond his constitutional authority. - HotAir
But he was asked by audience members and his media interviewer as well about why some people were still being deported. His answer was revealing.

THE PRESIDENT: José, look, the bottom line is, is that if somebody is working for ICE and there is a policy and they don’t follow the policy, there are going to be consequences to it. So I can’t speak to a specific problem. What I can talk about is what’s true in the government, generally.
