In Ferndale: City Clerk Elizabeth Conner said city council seats belonging to Mayor Stuart Titus, Councilman Michael Sweeney and Councilman John Maxwell will be available.
"So far, we've had current Councilman Daniel Brown file for mayor," Conner said. "Brown was elected to the council in 2012, so if he isn't selected as mayor he'll retain his seat. Several other people have taken out papers and shown interest in the council seats, but no one has turned anything in."...
