Dude: Did Spicoli (aka Tommy Vietor) Just Blow the Lid Off Benghazi?
◼ He is the former National Security Council spokesman for the Obama administration, was in the White House during the Benghazi terrorist attacks, and was heavily involved in preparing Susan Rice with the talking points she used to discuss Benghazi. - Stacy Rush/NewsNinja
During the interview, Vietor drops a “dude” and a couple of bombshells the Obama administration could have done without.
He admits he was in the White House situation room during the Benghazi attacks, Obama was not.
He admits he has no idea where the president was that night. After all, ‘he doesn’t have a tracking device on the POTUS’.
He cannot explain how the CIA talking points that the administration insists Amb. Rice used for the September 16, 2012 appearances included no mention of a YouTube video...
For me however, Vietor’s appearance itself is the story, as it epitomizes the Obama administration.
The 34 year old began working with then Senator Obama as (and I swear I am not making this up) the press van driver, and worked his way up the ranks to National Security Council spokesman.
During the Fox News appearance Vietor was disrespectful, immature, arrogant, inexperienced, ill-equipped, ill-prepared, dismissive, and flippant about an extremely serious subject. Vietor’s appearance and subsequent revelations level a devastating blow to the Obama presidency, yet does it really come as a surprise? Do we not tend to gravitate toward those with whom we have much in common?
