The Taylor School District will be closed down Tuesday because of the high number of staff that have called in sick to apparently attend protests in Lansing.The ‘sick’ teachers are heading to Lansing to protest a bill set to be signed into law Tuesday by Gov. Superintendent Diane Allen told Local 4 there isn’t enough teachers to cover classrooms, so the all schools will be closed for the day. She said she had heard from a principal about where the teachers were going.
