We have a lot going on:
The chips are down. Thirty-nine days from today, the nation will elect its 45th president and 113th Congress. We can contribute to victory here in Humboldt County by turning out a maximum Republican vote. Here is what we will do -- with your help:
First, come to the one-time-only Get-Out-The-Vote orientation session
from 10-11 a.m., this coming Saturday, September 29 at Republican headquarters, 311 Fifth Street, Eureka. You will learn about the elements of the GOTV program:
◼ Walking Key Precincts. On Saturday morning, October 6, we will cover the
precincts with the greatest concentrations of Republican voters.
◼ Rush Hour Signs. On Monday November 5 and election day, the 6th, we need
volunteers to hold signs at major traffic points at morning and evening rush hours to urge votes for Romney-Ryan.
◼ Ride Pool. We need volunteers who will stand by on Election Day to take voters
to the polls who lack transportation.
◼ Poll Checking. Volunteers are needed on Election Day afternoon to check the
postings outside polling station doors to see which Republicans have not voted;
then to go home and telephone these voters.
Come to the meeting Saturday, then decide where you can do your party the most good.
