There remains a small chance that Gov. Perry will come back in South Carolina and enjoy a resurgence of his campaign heading into Florida and beyond but it is highly unlikely. Rather than waiting for the results of South Carolina before pursuing consolidation, we have chosen to make whatever small contribution we can before the votes are cast. Therefore, we are joining Evangelicals With Newt in endorsing Speaker Gingrich for President.

He can end his campaign now and leave a hero or stay in till Sunday and be a spoiler.... For a generation, Rick Perry was undefeated. Now he will go back to Texas and everyone who ever lost to Rick Perry will seek to settle old scores. It will be a tough, bloody fight. He will have to be ready for it.
