Brian Papstein is owner of Eureka Broadcasting, a group of 6 radio stations. He has worked in radio for 30+ years ranging from announcer, sales, and talk showas in “Talk Shop” from 1983 to present day. He is a member of Idea Bank. Brian is a 3rd generation radio-caster and his grandfather wrote jingles including the famous Winston jingle. He was born in Eureka, CA and attended EHS, HSU and Doane College. He is married to Angie and they have two sons, Winston and
Stephen. Currently he is Chairman of the Board for St. Bernard’s Catholic School. Brian has served as President of Eureka Rotary, a member of: Eureka Babe Ruth, Humboldt County Convention & Visitors Bureau Board Exec. Com., the Humboldt County Budget Task Force, the Humboldt County Parks & Recreation Commission, and North Coast Big Brothers/Big Sisters Board.Brian’s concern for the community is evident from his involvement.
