Happy Rosh Hashanah
◼
Happy Rosh Hashanah for the Jewish New Year 5774! The two-day Rosh Hashanah holiday begins at sundown on Wednesday, September 4, 2013, on the first day of the Biblical seventh month of Tishrei. The holiday is the first of the Ten Days of Awe leading up to the holiest day of the Jewish calendar, Yom Kippur.
Rosh Hashanah begins the Jewish High Holy Days and it has been celebrated since the days of Moses – more than 3,200 years!
