Feb 10 – Mar 7 Candidate Filing Period, All Offices
Between these dates, persons wanting to run for any office on the ballot, including incumbents running for re-election, must file declaration of candidacy documents. For offices in Humboldt County, forms are available from and must be filed with the Humboldt County Office of Elections, 3033 H Street, Rm 20, Eureka.
Mar 8 – Mar 12 Candidacy Filing Extension for anyone other than the incumbent to file a declaration of candidacy and nomination petition if the incumbent did not file by March 7.
