This is a reminder that Tuesday, March 4th is the last day for NFRW members planning to attend the Spring board of directors meeting to make hotel reservations at the group rate of $199. After that date, the hotel will work to accommodate attendees, but we cannot guarantee room or group rate availability.
As of today (Thursday, February 27), there are still rooms available in the NFRW room block for Thursday, March 27 and Friday March 28. If you are interested in arriving earlier, please contact meetings@nfrw.org and we will work with the hotel to ensure you will be added to the NFRW room block.
Also, Friday, March 7 is the last day for early registration for the board meeting. The initial registration fee will go from $285 for full registration to $320.
This Saturday in Fresno, California the NFRW will host a campaign management school. Grassroots leaders and activists will learn how to write a campaign plan, fundraise, organize volunteers, conduct issue and opposition research, utilize social media, and target voters.
When Republican women formed the NFRW in 1938, they adopted political education as one of the fledgling organization's primary objectives. Today, the NFRW effectively pursues this long-time objective by training Republicans to win elections through the highly-successful Campaign Management School (CMS) program. March Board Meeting Speakers
NFRW is excited to have Ben Shapiro, Editor-At-Large of Breitbart.com, national best-selling author, and co-host of the Morning Answer, as the keynote speaker for the luncheon on Friday, March 28.
On Saturday afternoon, from 2:30 to 3:30, Executive Director of the Republican Senatorial Committee, Rob Collins, will be giving a presentation on the committee's work to elect Republicans to the Senate this election season. Deputy Executive Director for the National Republican Congressional Committee, Jessica Furst Johnson, will be joining Rob and presenting on what the NRCC is doing to elect Republicans in the House of Representatives this year.
On Saturday morning, Sheriff B.J. Barnes of Guilford County, North Carolina, will preside at the installation ceremony and give a talk. Stay tuned for more speaker information!
The Official Call for the annual Spring Board Meeting was sent the NFRW Board of Directors, Capitol Regents, and Regents on Tuesday evening.
