Cato Scholars Respond to the State of the Union Address

◼ Last night was a busy one at the Cato Institute!

During President Obama’s fifth annual State of the Union (SOTU) address and the Republican response, Cato scholars live-blogged while simultaneously tweeting up a storm using #CatoSOTU. Then, as soon as the president’s speech was concluded, our A/V team whisked scholars into the green room to record their reactions on film.

The result? This fantastic video featuring twelve different scholars responding to different aspects of President Obama’s speech. The video is an annual tradition at Cato, but, so far, we like this one the best!
