The White House released more than 100 e-mails on Wednesday in a bid to quell critics who say President Barack Obama and his aides played politics with national security following the deadly attack on the U.S. diplomatic compound in Benghazi, Libya.

Notably, the emails only begin on September 14, 2012. By that point, the administration had already taken to blaming the attack on a YouTube video.

What the emails and the history unequivocally show is that various government entities under the control of the White House performed a factual and contextual cleansing of the truth which then was used by the Obama campaign to make sure it stayed in the White House. But we are supposed to believe this was not political?
