The Willits News reports a tree sitter protesting the bypass project has been removed, and several other protesters have been arrested.

Breaking news: CHP and CalTrans workers have acted this morning in the heavy fog on Highway 101 south of Willits to remove the tree sitter Amanda "Warbler" Senseman. She and several other protesters have been arrested.
Be careful on Highway 101 near the protest site due to the heavy CHP and CalTrans presence, walkers hiking along the highway shoulder and extremely thick fog.
