10,000+ ROMNEY/RYAN Rally In WI, Over 10,000 more in High Point, NC...
◼ VP candidate Ryan returns to Wisconsin to adoring crowd - James B. Nelson, Steve Schultze, Bill Glauber and Craig Gilbert of the Journal Sentinel
"What we learned in this state, just a little while ago, is that we want to elect men and women who run for office and tell us who they really are, what they really believe, what they're really going to do, and when they get elected, they do that," he said. "That's what we do here in Wisconsin."
Ryan framed the fall campaign between the Republicans and President Barack Obama as a stark choice.
"Do we want that opportunity society, a safety net, a land of upward mobility, where people can make the most of their lives, where people can get ahead?" Ryan said. "Or, do we want to go down the path of debt, doubt and despair. Do we want to copy Europe? No."
Roads around the facility were jammed for miles, as thousands of people vied to get an up close and personal view of the GOP's new national ticket.

And... Earlier in the day, Romney and Ryan campaigned at the NASCAR Technical Institute in Mooresville, N.C. The Hickory Daily Record reported that the two were “greeted by thousands.” A Romney campaign official told TheDC that an estimated 4,700 people showed up, with 1,700 people inside the event and 3,000 outside.
The Romney bus tour is slated for stops in North Carolina, Florida, Virginia and Ohio over the coming days.

Romney and Ryan’s third stop as a team Saturday was just 30 miles from the White House in Manassas, Virginia, where thousands swamped the old town area to catch a glimpse and hear Romney and Ryan speak. I was among the thousands who decided this morning to make the last-minute trek....
Manassas completely shut down to welcome Romney and Ryan. Whoever mapped out the snaking lines to handle the incredible crowds should get some serious credit for their quick action. Remarkable too was that there were no complaints, just determination to get in and hear Romney and Ryan....
My final observation is that the groundswell favors Romney and Ryan. Despite media insistence otherwise, Obama’s support in Virginia has disappeared, especially here in Northern Virginia.
