McConnell: Obama is the most divisive president in my lifetime
◼ In a wide-ranging interview on Senate Democrat’s blockade to stall major pieces of legislation from becoming law, set to appear in an upcoming HUMAN EVENTS’ print edition, McConnell also addressed the negative impact President Obama’s campaign is already having on the country. - Jason Mattera and Audrey Hudson/Human Events
“None of this has anything whatsoever to do with accomplishing anything. It’s not having any positive impact on the country. This is all about the campaign,” McConnell said....
“And, it was all about demonizing people who’ve been successful, trying to make people who have been less successful envious of those who have been. And of course there is nothing liberals like more than taking your money and spending it the way they want to spend it. You know, the government doesn’t need any more money; we’re awash in revenue. The problem is we’re spending way, way, way, too much. He’s going to have over a trillion-dollar deficit every one of the four years he’s been in office,” McConnell said.
