Recently filed campaign finance forms (California Form 460s) show 1st District supervisor candidate Rex Bohn surpassing the candidates of every district by tens of thousands of dollars.... Aside from Bohn's sweep on contribution totals -- he raised nearly $94,000 -- the challengers in the 2nd and 3rd district races raised more money than the incumbents by several thousand dollars.
Fellow 1st District candidate Annette De Modena raised $1,105 in contributions, with no nonmonetary contributions. De Modena has loaned herself $13,000, leaving her with a total of $14,105 this period. Her fundraising efforts for the entire 2011 year netted $17,655. She has spent $17,412 so far. This leaves her with a current balance of roughly $242.
...Second District supervisor candidate Estelle Fennell raised a total of $31,972 with $30,598 in monetary contributions. In nonmonetary contributions, she raised $1,374.... The race's incumbent, 2nd District Supervisor Clif Clendenen, raised roughly $6,096 this period -- $5,977 in monetary contributions and $118 in nonmonetary contributions.
...Third District supervisor candidate Karen Brooks raised a total of $20,327 with $19,827 in monetary contributions.... Incumbent 3rd District Supervisor Mark Lovelace raised $625, with a $500 monetary contribution from himself and $125 in contributions from various individuals who gave contributions that were less than $100.
