The second major negative economic drag Obama has imposed on the economy is his absentee landlord approach to being President. He is passive aggressive and has done little to stimulate, shape or guide the debate on the Federal budget on the Hill. Much as he did with health care, he is sitting on the sidelines carping and complaining but is not doing much to advance a clear policy position.

Taken as a whole, the vision of Barack Obama is an economic nightmare for the average American. We are probably a month away from the Federal Government finally admitting that we are in the middle of a double dip recession. Until then it is imperative that the public demand that Obama pull his head out of the deluded academic clouds that shroud his vision and that he get in touch with what the average American actually is experiencing. But don’t get your hopes too high.
